What I don't like is the big pain in the neck to get the kids ready to go outside. After being cooped up with a week of colds and stomach bugs, we had to get out of this germy house. Thus began the circus of putting on the snow pants, gloves, hats and my favorite...boots!(grrrrr...those boots....) for the 15 minutes that they will actually stay outside. I can still remember my mom's grumbling and bad attitude as she would put our boots on. Then she wouldn't let us come in for HOURS. Yeah, I get it now.
Here is Jack "surfing" down the hill. I know I shouldn't have let him, but he wiped out about midway down and now won't sled, anyway.
Nice mittens, Riley. she really does have cute furry ones to match her hat, but she insisted on Jack's firetruck mittens. Pick your battles.
And they both love to eat snow!

Hope you enjoyed YOUR snow day as much as we did!

We took the kids sledding at Sharon Woods.
2 hours. The hill is huge they have a fire place and a big thick rope to help you climb the hill.
We have to go again.. you must come.
I had a blast.
: )
Happy SNOW DAY.
