Every year we go to the Lebanon Fire Dept Easter Egg Hunt. Every year we kid ourselves into believing Easter is going to be balmy and sunny and beautiful with the flowers in bloom and pretty birds chirping as we frolic through the fields to hunt our prize eggs. However, this IS Ohio and every year it is sleeting or snowing and the fields are a muddy nasty mess. Anyway, to speed everyone out the door, Jack got to get himself ready for the event. Unfortunately he chose his cousin's too big hand me down coat, his other cousin's too big snow boots and his own Spider man trick or treat bucket. So, if there is any confusion, Jack is NOT trick or treating and Yes, this is Easter, not Christmas!
I hate to see my kids growing up so fast. I hope and pray that Jack isn't "too cool" to sit with the Easter Bunny next year.
And Riley had a great time, too. This is a great age because she could care less that she only got one little egg and was very happy with the little piece of (frozen) candy inside.
