Saturday was the first game of the year. My brother in law was LUCKY enough to get Jack onto his team (and it was a legit blind draw). Jack's 2 cousins Erin and Lauren are also on the team. Uncle Mitch is a brave man. It is Erin's first season. Jack and Lauren are seasoned vets with a season already under their belts, so they are old pros. They must be separated at practices and games or you will find them playing princess and fireman or picking weeds or digging for worms or twirling around like helicopters, counting clouds...they both are a wee bit spacey. The game was great, I think we lost(are we supposed to keep score?!? losing is BAD for their self esteem, you know)but my kid didn't make any goals for the wrong team and since he was the league leading scorer for the wrong team last season, this is progress.
By the way, they are called the Bluebirds. How cute is that. the girls must have won that one!
