For some reason, we always seem to drag out birthdays for weeks in this house, so we got off easy this year and got Jack done in a week. It started out Monday at "yred yrobin yum" (say it out loud. That is exactly how he says it!)We had dinner with Oogah, Titi and the gang and he was spoiled rotten.

Grandma Patty came to town and we decided to have a family birthday party, but as usual it morphed into a "family-and-people-who-aren't-related-but-might-as-well-be" party.
Here is Marty sitting at the kids table. (his family is in Ky at their Grammy's house.)Nice beverage at the kid table, Marty!

lily pushing riley in the swing...

Present time!!! Yes! Seems like the slip and slide was the present of choice this year, so if anyone happens to get a slip and slide from me, pretend you didn't read this.

I kindly asked my sweet husband to take the "cake pictures" since I was busy lighting candles, keeping them lit, and leading the crowd in "happy Birthday". Um, Yeah. we had a really great cake with firetrucks and red icing, but here is the only picture he took that even has cake in it, and it happens to be on riley's face.

so thanks to all of you who helped make Jack's birthday a wonderful day, I mean week. We are so thankful for all of our family and friends and Jack is blessed to have so many people who love him!

Oh, and PS Happy 5th Birthday!!
That was my fantastic photography (the one of Riley and icing... and the leg cropped out of the pic.. that's your husband's contribution to the pic!

I can't believe you didn't buy him the huge $500 water park in your backyard thing!! It looks like Jack had a great time!
Just combine the 3 slip-n-slides and you'll have an amazing water park right in your own back yard!
Fun party! We love bdays that last at least a week!
