Tonight Jack watched Alvin and the Chipmunks Movie. I wasn't watching it with him, so I am not sure where this came from, but when we were eating dinner he had a question.
Jack: "Mom, how come some Mommy chipmunks leave their babies all alone?"
Me: "Um....Well, Animals are different than us. Some animals just leave after they have their babies. It is just what happens in the wild. Animals are just kinda different from humans."
Jack: "Huh...(thinking)... I am glad when you had OUR new baby you left me at Nina and Papaw's house. That is a LOT better than just bein' left alone. I would have been scared all by myself."
Steve: No comment available****You know Steve, he was sitting there all sappy and teary***
So sweet. That's why I love them both.
