It feels like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. I was sitting in the backseat hovering over his tiny little body strapped in the car seat, worried that his head flopping around would cut off his airway. We then spent a few weeks trying to figure out how to hold him right, how to put his diaper without getting peed on, worrying about how much he was eating and/or spitting up, watching him sleep,putting my hand on his back to make sure he was breathing (um...Ok, I still do that...)
Whew!
anyway...back from memory lane...
Tomorrow that little baby will be 6. Oh, my...do we have our days. He's a lot like his Momma and we can really butt heads. However, he is sweet, loving, strong willed and determined, but I am so thankful for every day I spend with him. Everyone thinks their own kids are great, but he really is a special little guy. He is an energetic, emotional and easygoing fella, and sometimes it's all at once.
Here in a nutshell is my boy.
Jack is:
A Worker
A helper
A Brother
A Cousin
A Runner
A Napper (thank you, God!)
A shooter
An adventurer (who else would bring a green pistol(stuffed in his shorts...because you never know!!)
An athlete
A Planner (that traffic jam was a day long adventure!)
And my Baby.
We love you, Sweet Boy! Thank you for 6 years of blood, sweat and tears.(ours and yours!) We are so thankful for you, and pray for many, many more!

So sweet! I can't believe I haven't posted anything about our birthday boy yet, and it was ten days ago! I also can't believe they got this big so fast
I remember getting the phone call away at college the day he was born. I was so sad not to be there, yet so excited to meet this little baby everyone was looking forward to meeting. He was finally here!! I cannot believe that Jack is 6 years old now. He's such a great kid and so loving to Henry. I look forward to many more great memories with him (and of course, you guys too)!
