Then the sensible "safety-simon" comes out. When the time comes to put a candle in the pumpkin, only battery powered candles will do for this kid. He severely protested the real candle,(according to him it may catch the house on fire if the wind blows in the east-north-east direction tonight) so we went with batteries.

And my little man lost no sleep worrying about fires.
