Graduation

My baby boy graduated. Granted, it is preschool, but I cried all the way through. Not because I was proud (which I was...I mean, he WAS the cutest kid there) but I was crying because of what comes next. I am supposed to put my BABY on a bus next fall?!? What will he do without me....who will make sure he has a safe seat on the bus...who will help him if he falls off the monkey bars...who will stick up for him if the cool kids don't like him...who will help him button his pants... aaaakkkkkk....I am crying again! Now I know why people home school.

Here is Jack with Nini and Papaw. For those of you who know my dad, he doesn't "show his teeth" laugh too often. He is laughing in this picture because I had taken like 14 pictures of the three of them and in every picture Jack is hopping up and down, dropping his hat, waving to his cousins and I COULD NOT get a picture of them. This is the best I could do.

And here is the Jack and the infamous Brady (or MYYEEE BWWWAAAADDDYYY as Riley says) We have carpooled with Brady for 2 years now, and Jack and Brady have really formed a cute little relationship. People who don't know think they are twins. Miss Lori(the teacher) says she has two permanent gray hairs from Jack and Brady, which is sad because she is 30ish. They are best friends and worst enemies within 30 seconds, but I think jack will never have another Brady.

After graduation, Brady and his family came over to celebrate. The grownups celebrated, the boys just played firemen...we had a great night. It was capped off with Kings Island fireworks (which we can see from our yard) By the way, how cute are their medals? They got them at graduation and kept them on all night.

Congratulations my baby boy. I am proud of you, I love you, and I will buy you a cell phone so I can call you when you go to kindergarten.
